We are about to begin a new run of replica U.N.C.L.E. shoulder holsters. These will be the most accurate reproductions possible as we are working from scale pictures of the original sent to us by it's owner. We are going to make a limited number of these so if you think you are ever going to want one please email us at info@theunclegun.com so we can email you the details. There are certain things you need to know before ordering and these holsters will need to be ordered over the phone or by email.

Unfortunately, this original holster has since torn into several pieces. ![]() ![]() Here is another early U.N.C.L.E. holster that became “official.” It is from “The Quadripartite Affair” and later became the Solo holster. It’s lines are only slightly different from the “Kuryakin” holster. Sometimes it appears it might have been made of slightly thicker leather. And originally the backstrap was too short. They used a second “extender” strap to make it longer, as revealed by the two buckles on the backstrap. ![]() ![]() ![]() Before they settled on what we now recognize as the official U.N.C.L.E. shoulder holster, there were several other types that were used. Here are pictures of some of them. Type of holster used by Napolean Solo in the pilot episode, “The Vulcan Affair” ![]() ![]()

Two New Accurate Reproduction U.N.C.L.E. Shoulder Holsters Three years in development, these holsters are the most accurate reproduction U.N.C.L.E. shoulder holsters ever made. We put hundreds of hours into collecting and analyzing video and still shots, and taking measurements of every conceivable aspect. We made over a dozen prototype holsters working out every detail of the design before finalizing the pattern used to cut the leather. These are so accurate that the man who owns the original holster used by David McCallum now uses one of our holsters with one of the original U.N.C.L.E. guns he owns, as does another owner of one of the other original U.N.C.L.E. guns. We have made the new holster with the same weight leather and the same idiosyncrasies as the original. We have also made them in two versions and two prices. One version is just like David McCallum’s (Illya) holster, which includes the extra stitching on the underarm part, as well as the extra layer of leather the extra stitching is for. The other version is cut from the same pattern, but it does not have the extra layer of leather or the extra stitching. The underarm part of the original holster was cut apart to enlarge it and change the position of the gun. A second layer of leather was added for support to the back of where the stitching is located, and the stitching is what holds it all together. These holsters are in limited supply.
